Amazing invention the aeroplane…
I was at Luna Park and Bondi Beach today, and tonight sit typing this blog post at home in Brisbane. Why? Because of the aeroplane – the most wonderful of inventions. I owe a bunch of gratitude to Orville and Wilbur Wright who, on December 17, 1903, made the first successful experiment in which a machine (aka the aeroplane) carrying a man, rose by its own power. How amazing is that, just to think of that concept….
It sure is comfortable now too – food, tv, recliner chairs….home in a blink….
Thanks to all the wonderful minds who grew the idea of this amazing flying machine since 1903 to what it is today. What a mind boggle, what a marvel.
